Help is available. Speak with someone today, dial 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Get immediate emotional and substance use support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
First responders face an increased risk of experiencing some mental health and substance use issues and conditions. Fear of being seen as weak or not up to the job of a responder keeps many from seeking help. Responders can build their resilience by increasing awareness about risk factors and warning signs, talking with each other, and using healthy coping strategies.
We orchestrate journeys to harness the inherent therapeautic nature of our world and what it offers to us. We do this while employing a framework of resiliency training, peer support, and remote learning to create transformative outcomes that reshape lives. We do this because we are combat survivors ourselves. We carry the immeasurable scars of human conflict. Drawing on those experiences, we are forming a path towards a safer world for everyone.
Peer Support is for employees and families in an effort to support through times of professional and work-related stress, as well as during and following critical incidents. The Peer Support Team provides support to those who experience stresses generated by the role of law enforcement in today's society.

The Colorado First Responders Loan Discount Program was created to benefit our community's brave and honorable first responders. This includes a discount of $500 off closing costs for police officers, firefighters, sheriffs’ deputies, 911 dispatchers, military, community service officers, ER nurses, ER doctors, and EMT. We look forward to giving back to those who act with such urgency to give so much of their lives to serve the people of Colorado.
We are here to help with our closing cost gift funds for everyday heroes. EHHAF assists Everyday Community Heroes like police officers, firefighters, teachers, social workers and medical professionals — by providing them with free gift funds to help cover closing costs when purchasing a home. The critical work these every day American Heroes do enhances all of our lives and it’s our duty to support them wherever we can.
